CANCER came back❗️Martyna needs your support❗️
In 2022, Martyna developed pain in her back and chest. The doctors said these were growing pains. Even the blood test results came out fine. It wasn't until July that we faced a tipping point. Our daughter fainted during a summer camp. After medical examination, the doctors made a diagnosis that made us go weak at the knees - Ewing sarcoma. Martyna was admitted to the cancer unit, where she started chemotherapy right away. It was stopped in January before cancer surgery and resumed as adjuvant therapy (proton therapy was added). She also had follow-up appointments every three weeks until the end of February. Everything seemed fine until Martyna started to feel pain again - this time in her neck and spine. We blamed her slouching. On March 13, we went to the emergency room. Although the ultrasound, MRI, and blood tests showed no abnormalities whatsoever, we asked for a CT scan. On April 5, the doctors detected a tumor in the retropharyngeal space. Despite cancer removal and chemo, some of its cells have remained in the bloodstream. Another treatment will be difficult and complex. We received a referral to the hospital in Cracow since the radiation therapy might damage the internal organs. We want Martyna to undergo chemo and proton therapy, followed by another chemo, depending on the situation. The cancer recurrence diagnosis came as a shock to our daughter. After all, Martyna is only 13 years old and has her whole life ahead of her! It is why we cannot and won't surrender. However, the treatment and transportation are expensive. We are running out of funds, so we decided to ask you for support. Every little donation means the world to us! Although cancer is a nasty enemy, with your support we believe we can win this battle! This time, we won't let the disease destroy and take away our daughter's life. The parents
