Donation to Turkey-Syria earthquake victims

The money box was created on the initiative of the Organizer who is responsible for its content.

Hi all :-)

In the face of series of powerful earthquakes hitting Turkey and Syria on 6th of February, Transaction Sanctions Screening Team Common Swifts wants to contribute to helping thousands of those affected by the natural disaster.

Our team would like to invite all Danske Bank employees to join in fundraise for the victims.

After the series of earthquakes and aftershocks of unusually high magnitude, thousands of people in Turkey and Syria were injured and many of them lost their homes.

Currently rescuers and residents on both sides of the Turkish-Syrian border are still searching for people trapped in the ruins of buildings.

The area affected by the cataclysm stretches over 330 km, from the Syrian city of Hama to the Turkish Diyarbakir.

According to the newest updates published by WHO death toll passed 5,000 and the number of victims still rises.
